An organisation is the top-level account in MailSandbox. It owns everything below it: your projects, inboxes, team members, plan and usage. When you sign up, your first organisation is created for you automatically.

Inside an organisation you create projects, and inside each project you create inboxes that capture email.

The organisation is where account-wide settings live. From its settings you can:

• Invite and manage team members, and assign each one a role.
• Choose a plan and manage billing — see plans & limits.
• Track how much you are using against your plan on the usage screen.
• Manage organisation details and data.

You can belong to more than one organisation — for example your own agency and a client that invited you. Use the organisation switcher in the header to move between them. Each organisation keeps its projects, inboxes and billing completely separate.
