Sharing emails
Send a captured email to clients with a secure test URL
Overview
Sharing is what makes MailSandbox an email review layer, not just a catcher. Any captured message can be turned into a secure test URL that clients and stakeholders open in their browser — no MailSandbox account required — so they can review and approve an email before it ships.
Creating a share link
- Open the message you want to share
- Click the "Share" button
- Optionally set an expiry and a password
- Generate the link and copy it to your client
Recipients see a clean, rendered version of the email — the same HTML preview you see — without any of the MailSandbox interface around it. You can create several links for the same message and revoke any of them at any time.
Passwords & expiry
Because a share link is public by design, MailSandbox gives you two ways to keep it controlled:
- Expiry — every link expires on a date and time you choose (a week from now by default). After that it stops working.
- Password — optionally protect a link with a password (at least four characters). Recipients must enter it before the email is shown.
